From Delhi-NCR to Maharashtra, relentless showers have disrupted normal life, leading to waterlogging, flash floods, and weather-related incidents in several regions. In Maharashtra, the ongoing monsoon has triggered flash floods, swollen rivers, and building collapses in some areas. Rain and thunderstorms are also forecast on July 10 and July 11, with strong winds of 40-50 kmph expected during thunderstorms. According to the IMD, the monsoon is expected to remain active across parts of the state for the next two to three days. Heavy rainfall may continue in the Bharatpur division and nearby districts on July 10, while rainfall activity is expected to reduce across most parts of the state from July 11 onward.Uttarakhand weather today The IMD has issued an Orange Alert for heavy rainfall in several parts of Uttarakhand, including Nainital, Dehradun, Kaladhungi, Dangoli, Bhimtal, Narendra Nagar, Pauri, Chorgalia, Kausani, Devprayag, and Koshyakutoli. Residents have been advised to stay away from rivers, streams, and seasonal drains during heavy rain. The State Emergency Operations Centre has directed district authorities to enhance monitoring in vulnerable areas, keep rescue teams on standby, monitor road conditions, and ensure swift emergency response if required.Assam weather forecast The IMD has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, across several parts of Assam over the next three to four days. Districts likely to be affected include Kamrup (Rural), Dhubri, Barpeta, Kokrajhar, Nagaon, Sonitpur, Lakhimpur, Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Cachar, and Dima Hasao. In Guwahati, cloudy skies with intermittent rain and thundershowers are expected throughout the week.Tamil Nadu weather forecast The IMD has predicted moderate rainfall over districts along the Western Ghats in Tamil Nadu during the next two days. Thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds are also expected in several places.
