A local court in Kakinada on Wednesday awarded life imprisonment to a man in connection with the 2020 murder case reported in Jaggampeta police limits in Kakinada district and it also imposed a fine of ₹10,000 on him.Thokala Venkatesulu has been convicted for beating his live-in partner to death for not preparing chicken curry as per his demand.Peddapuram Deputy Superintendent of Police A.B.G. Tilak stated in a release that Venkatesulu had beaten his live-in partner, Nesam Lakshmi, to death with a log after she did not obey his demand to prepare chicken curry on March 28, 2020.“The incident occurred in a mango orchard in Mallisala village, where the convicted worked as a gardener.
