Anduril Industries has signed a cooperative agreement with Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. (PGZ) to set up production in Poland for the surface-launched Barracuda-500M cruise missile system.

At a signing event attended by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, the companies explained that manufacturing would be localized in Bydgoszcz. The plan centers on PGZ subsidiary WZL-2 as the production site.

The Barracuda-500M is a long-range precision weapon engineered for large-scale manufacturing at a lower cost than many existing strike systems. Anduril and PGZ said the project is intended to support faster replenishment and higher volumes than what scarce, high-end munitions can typically provide.
