It has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, multiple storage options, an integrated 85W power supply, and two LAN ports: one with support for 10 Gigabit speeds and another with 2.5 GbE support.But with an Intel Core 3 304 Wildcat Lake processor, its 5-core chip should offer decent single-core performance, but underwhelming multi-core performance. And it’s single-core iGPU is nothing to write home about. And that makes the $509 starting price (during pre-orders) for this model a bit of a head scratcher.On the one hand, the system will certainly be faster than any of the sub-$300 mini PCs with Intel N150 chips that we’ve seen in recent years, and rising RAM & storage prices are making every computer expensive. On the other hand, I suspect that you could get similar performance by picking up an older Intel Core or AMD Ryzen-powered mini PC released a few years ago, possibly saving some money in the process.Another thing to keep in mind is that the starting price for the Beelink EQi is for a model with 16GB of LPDDR5 memory that’s soldered to the mainboard and 512GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage, neither of which are removable.
