LUCENA CITY — A former police officer was arrested in Calatagan, Batangas, on Sunday after authorities allegedly found him carrying a firearm without the required permit outside his residence.
A Batangas police report released Monday said officers were serving warrants of arrest against a murder suspect identified only as “Jun” at a resort in Barangay Bagong Silang at around 7:30 p.m. when they spotted a Glock 30 .45-caliber pistol inside a tent.
