MANILA, Philippines — Two Caloocan City police officers are facing dismissal proceedings after they were arrested for allegedly illegally selling guns, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Thursday.
In a press briefing in Camp Crame, PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said he ordered the filing of administrative cases against the two officers following their arrest in a buy-bust operation.
“Idi-dismiss ko yung mga pulis na yun,” Nartatez stressed.
(I’ll dismiss these police officers.)
