The All Progressives Congress Senatorial aspirant for Kwara South, Sola Ajimati, has expressed confidence in the leadership and integrity of the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, amid recent allegations and media reports surrounding his office.
In a statement on Sunday, the APC chieftain said the group remained fully committed to supporting President Bola Tinubu’s administration and the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to him, while allegations deserving of investigation should be handled by the appropriate authorities, there was a need to avoid what he described as “trial by media” and misinformation.
“We strongly reject the growing culture of trial by media, misinformation, and deliberate attempts to distract public officials from their constitutional responsibilities,” he said.
