IBADAN — The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has constituted a reconciliation committee to address grievances arising from its recently concluded primary elections ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The committee, made up of party elders and key stakeholders, is expected to be inaugurated next week and will be chaired by the state APC Chairman and former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo.
According to a statement issued by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Olawale Sadare, the committee was established to engage aspirants and stakeholders who participated in the primaries but did not secure the party’s tickets for various elective positions.
The party said the initiative is aimed at promoting reconciliation, rebuilding trust and strengthening internal unity ahead of the 2027 elections.
