A statement issued by the state Publicity Secretary, Olawale Sadare, in Ibadan, the state capital, listed the committee members as “Senators Olufemi Lanlehin, Brimo Yusuf, Hosea Agboola and Akin Oke; former Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Prof. Afolabi Oladapo; Idris Adeoye; Pa Timothy Jolaoso; Olukemi Alao-Akala; Adebayo Adewusi; Gunju Ojo; and Adekemi Opatunde.”
The committee, which is expected to be inaugurated this week by the state Chairman of the party and former Deputy Governor, Moses Adeyemo, will be mandated to reach out to all those who obtained the APC’s Expression of Interest and Nomination forms in Oyo State but were unable to secure the party’s tickets to contest various elective positions.
