Ronaldo’s multi-year partnership with Binance, which kicked off in 2022, remains one of the highest-profile collaborations between a traditional sports icon and a crypto exchange. The deal produced the CR7 ForeverZone brand, an NFT platform designed to give fans access to exclusive content and experiences tied to Ronaldo’s career.
The collaboration has generated at least four NFT collections to date. In 2023, Binance issued 50,000 mystery boxes under the CR7 ForeverZone banner. Subsequent drops included ForeverSkills and Forever Worldwide, with the ForeverSkills collection scheduled for December 2024.
