LUCENA CITY — The local government of Taytay, Rizal, has received a “Highly Functional” rating—the highest performance classification—in the 2026 Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Their Children (LCAT-VAWC) Functionality Assessment conducted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
According to the Taytay Public Information Office (PIO), the municipality earned a score of 103 percent, describing the recognition as “another milestone in good governance.”
The local government said the distinction reflects its continuing commitment to protecting the rights, dignity, and welfare of women and children through responsive governance, strong institutional mechanisms, and collaborative community action.
