Congratulating the graduates on receiving their degrees, Minister for Higher Education P. Viswanathan hailed the Nadar Mahajana Sangam S. Vellaichamy Nadar College as a prestigious institution that has consistently contributed to quality higher education.Speaking at the 38th graduation day, he said that the four strong pillars of every educational institution are students, teachers, parents and the management, whose collective efforts shape future generations.He expressed pride in visiting an institution established by the visionary leader “Perunthalaivar” K. Kamaraj, fondly remembered as the “King Maker,” and appreciated the college’s commitment to academic excellence.Emphasizing that education is the third eye of society, he said that teachers play a vital role in opening this “third eye” by enlightening young minds.He described education as the greatest and irreplaceable wealth that one can possess and urged students to continue learning throughout their lives. Stressing the importance of integrity, he recalled inspiring incidents from the life Kamaraj and other stalwarts and urged the students to uphold honesty and moral values in their personal and professional lives.The role of parents and teachers in shaping students’ futures was also equally important and urged graduates to respect their teachers, cherish books as lifelong companions and remain committed to knowledge and lifelong learning.College secretary and correspondent R.
