Oleh Kashperuk, head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Sumy region, stated on Saturday that the victims were the wife and child of an officer currently serving in the region’s special police battalion. According to Kashperuk, the couple’s elder 13-year-old daughter was injured in the same strike and remains hospitalized for medical treatment.
Ongoing strikes in Kherson, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia Attacks continued into Saturday morning, July 4, affecting several other regions across the country. In the southern Kherson region, a 66-year-old woman was injured during an artillery strike on the settlement of Bilozerka at approximately 9:20 a.m. local time. The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that the woman sustained a mine-explosive trauma, a concussion, and shrapnel injuries to her back and leg. She has been hospitalized for further medical care.
