Two people were injured in Russian attacks across Ukraine's northeastern Sumy region over the past day, with widespread damage to homes, vehicles, and civilian infrastructure.
According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration announced this on Telegram.
Russian forces carried out nearly 70 strikes between the morning of May 30 and the morning of May 31, targeting 36 settlements across 16 territorial communities.
In the Krasnopillia community, a 58-year-old man was injured after a Russian drone struck a vehicle. In the Shostka community, a 78-year-old man was wounded.
The heaviest shelling was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.
