The allegations are contained in a formal petition addressed to the Honourable Chief Judge of Kaduna State, titled "Complaint of Flagrant and Deliberate Abuse of Judicial Process Against the Chief Magistrate, Tudun Wada Zaria, His Worship Shamsuddeen Ja'afar."
The Kaduna State Chief Magistrate of the Tudun Wada Magistrate Court, Zaria, Shamsuddeen Ja'afar, has been accused of allegedly attempting to facilitate efforts to dispossess the former President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Atiku Abubakar Isah, of his residence despite a pending case before the High Court.
The petition relates to Suit No. ZAR/24/CV/2025, filed by Dr. Ibrahim Mansir Balarabe as claimant against Atiku Abubakar Isah as defendant.
According to the petition, legal representatives of the defendant challenged the competence of the case after the claimant instituted an action under the Kaduna State Landlord and Tenant Law, 2018, seeking recovery of premises allegedly occupied by Isah.
