The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) will conduct a four-day special camp from July 15 to 18 to facilitate the regularisation of unapproved plots across its 100 wards.The camps will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Corporation’s zonal offices. Camps for the East, North and West zones will be held on July 15 and 16, while those for the South Zone will be held on July 17 and 18. The Central Zone office will host the camp on July 17.The special camp is intended to process applications for the regularisation of unapproved individual plots and layouts.According to the Corporation, individual plots in unapproved layouts are eligible for regularisation only if they were registered in the applicant’s name through a registered sale deed on or before October 20, 2016, the date on which the relevant rules came into force. In addition, the plot should have access to a public road with a minimum width of 4.8 metres in Corporation and municipal areas.Applicants have been asked to submit the online payment receipt for the ₹500 application fee, Forms I, II and III, the sale deed and parent document, patta or TSLR/FMB records, three copies of the site plan, the layout sketch, topo sketch and an encumbrance certificate.The Corporation said the regularisation fee has been fixed at ₹175 per sq. m. and the development charge at ₹500 per sq. m.
