Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko’s visit to Jakarta for a bilateral meeting followed President Prabowo Subianto's visit to the European country in July 2025.

President Prabowo Subianto and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko launched a new five-year cooperation roadmap between both countries during the latter’s visit to Jakarta on Thursday, pledging closer ties and expanded cooperation in key sectors, including energy and food security.On Thursday, Lukashenko arrived at the Merdeka Palace at around 11:25 a.m., escorted from the National Monument (Monas) complex by a ceremonial convoy of motorcycle and horse outriders.
He later held a closed-door meeting with Prabowo, talking about strategic issues and various bilateral cooperation between both countries, according to statements issued by the Presidential Secretariat.
