Key ministers of the Red and White Cabinet are gearing up for the impending state visit of Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko on Thursday in Jakarta, as the Eastern European nation seeks to expand trade with Indonesia in key commodities, including palm oil.Foreign Minister Sugiono met with his Belarusian counterpart Maxim Ryzhenkov on Tuesday to set discussion topics for Lukashenko’s visit, covering economic cooperation, agriculture, food security, science and technology as well as culture.
The visit is also expected to mark the launch of the Indonesia-Belarus Road Map for Bilateral Cooperation 2026-2030.
