Björn Jesch, the former global CIO of DWS and CEO of DWS Switzerland, has taken on a new role at Allianz Global Investors. The finance heavyweight has also relocated from Frankfurt to Zurich as part of the move.

Allianz Global Investors has named Björn Jesch as its new head of family office coverage, finews can reveal. He assumed the role in Zurich this July. Jesch joined Allianz Global Investors last September in Frankfurt as its chief product officer last September.
Jesch is best known in the financial industry for his previous roles as CEO of DWS CH and global CIO, as well as global head multi asset and solutions of DWS.
