Joerg Zimmermann has been appointed as the new head of Swiss sales at Man Group. He succeeds Manuele de Gennaro, the former head of M&G Switzerland, who is joining a new firm in Zurich.

The global alternative investment manager, Man Group, has appointed Joerg Zimmermann as its new head of Swiss sales. He assumed the position in Freienbach this month. The new sales chief reports to Matteo Cianfoni, the head of continental wealth. Zimmermann will lead the distribution of the firm’s funds and services for both institutional and wealth channels in Switzerland, Man Group told finews.
He succeeds Manuele de Gennaro, the former head of M&G Switzerland, who had been holding the role since 2021. De Gennaro will be joining a fast-growing asset management company with around 80 employees in Zurich.
