The next time you order food or step into a restaurant, the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation’s (CMC) latest inspection report may be worth a look. The CMC has released the hygiene scores of 39 restaurants, cafes, schools, central kitchens and other food businesses inspected by the corporation’s food safety team in June, with ratings ranging from 18% to 94%, highlighting wide variations in food safety and hygiene standards.. While some popular restaurants and schools emerged with top ratings, several well-known eateries and food businesses were pulled up for poor hygiene, prompting Improvement Notices and other enforcement measures.Five establishments shared the highest hygiene score of 94%. These included 10 Pounder Pizzeria near SMR Vinay Technopolis, PVR Inox at Inorbit Mall, Cinepolis at Lulu Mall, Chirec International School in Kondapur and The Gaudium School in Kollur. The Rameshwaram Cafe near Image Gardens followed with 93%, while Sattibabu Biryani near KIMS, Kondapur scored 92%.
