Multiple food safety and hygiene violations, including a cockroach infestation, expired food items and poor sanitation, were detected during inspections carried out by the food safety teams of the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) at two restaurants in GSM Mall, Madinaguda.Violations at Wow MomoAt Wow Momo, inspectors found a cockroach infestation within the premises, and records relating to water testing, food testing, packaging testing and medical fitness of staff were not available. The dishwashing area lacked a hot water provision, while expired sauces and paneer were identified and discarded during the inspection. Spoilt vegetables and leafy vegetables were also discarded. Further, officials observed that onion storage crates required proper cleaning and that the flooring had not been deep cleaned adequately.
