India’s EV push is shifting into a higher gear.
After unveiling its new EV Policy 2026, Delhi is offering subsidies for electric two-wheelers, tax breaks on eligible EVs, and a roadmap to phase out new petrol and CNG two-wheelers over the next two years.
The policy could give a fresh boost to the country’s electric mobility ambitions, and companies like Ola Electric are already showing signs of benefiting.
The EV maker nearly doubled its registrations in the April–June quarter, marking its strongest monthly performance in recent quarters.
