DA leader Geordin Hill-Lewis has set the bar high for the incoming ministers and deputies in the GNU.

DA leader Geordin Hill-Lewis said the party's new team in the Government of National Unity (GNU) must prove that the DA delivers better government, insisting they have a clear mandate from millions of South Africans to raise standards in national leadership.

As the party's Ministers and Deputy Ministers prepare to be sworn in on Wednesday, Hill-Lewis said the team has been chosen to demonstrate that the DA can deliver cleaner, more effective and accountable government.

“They will show that the DA governs better for all South Africans,” Hill-Lewis said.

This is after President Cyril Ramaphosa reshuffled the DA’s team in cabinet.
