The victim and another woman went to a nearby supermarket with the man but became separated from the other woman after leaving the shop.Met Police said that, between 4am and 6am, the suspect took the victim into an alley behind the supermarket, where he raped her. The woman was able to eventually fight the man off and left the scene.The suspect is described as a man of Middle Eastern or southern European appearance, approximately 5ft11in tall, of thin build, with thick eyebrows, a thick beard and black hair. He was wearing a plain white top, jeans and trainers at the time of the attack on February 14.The attack happened on Saturday, February 14, but police have only just released an e-fit of the suspect in a bid to track him down.Detective Constable Kay Paterson said: “The victim in this case has shown tremendous bravery, coming forward in the wake of an appalling attack. She continues to be supported by specially-trained officers.
