The Kwara State Government has approved the cash backing for the 2025 promotion exercise for eligible teaching and non-teaching staff of the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission, a move aimed at ensuring the implementation of promotion benefits for affected workers.
The approval, granted by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, was disclosed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Press Secretary of the Teaching Service Commission, Bola Onile.
The statement said the approval underscores the administration’s commitment to the welfare, motivation and career progression of workers in the state public service, particularly personnel under the Teaching Service Commission.
Reacting to the development, the Executive Chairman of TESCOM, Bello Abubakar, thanked Governor AbdulRazaq for what he described as sustained support for the education sector and the welfare of teachers and other staff of the commission.
