July will bring a mix of easy-to-see sky events, from a sunset spectacle in New York City to shooting stars at the end of the month.

Here are the top astronomy events to watch in July:

Manhattanhenge: July 11-12

For the second and final time this year, the setting sun will line up with the street grid in New York City to create the viral phenomenon known as Manhattanhenge.
