Como 1907 has completed the signing of Spanish midfielder Luis Milla from Getafe for a reported fee of €6 million, ending the 31-year-old’s four-year stint in La Liga and adding experienced midfield depth ahead of the upcoming Serie A campaign.

The deal represents a sharp discount. Milla’s release clause sat at €20 million, meaning Como effectively paid 70% less than the contractual buyout price.

The deal breakdown

Personal terms between Milla and Como were reportedly agreed around June 19, 2026, with the formal transfer wrapping up shortly after. The €6 million fee is notable not just for its size relative to the release clause, but also because Milla’s estimated market value currently sits at roughly €3.5 million.

So Como paid above market value, but well below what Getafe could have technically demanded.
