Sanlorenzo now has an even bigger presence on the high seas.
The Italian shipyard just launched the largest superyacht in its 68-year history. The 239-foot Virtuosity is the second hull in Sanlorenzo’s flagship 74Steel series, following on from the slightly smaller 236-foot Silver Fox that was launched last October.
More than four years in the making, Virtuosity shares the same technical foundations—a steel hull, aluminum superstructure, and hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system—as the inaugural unit, but introduces features “never seen before on a superyacht,” Sanlorenzo says. Those industry firsts include a living tree rising through two decks, an underwater aquarium in the hull, a waterside “ocean resort,” and an architectural reflecting pool.
