King Misuzulu kaZwelithini with Prince Ishwar Ramlutchman Mabheka
In recognition of his longstanding commitment to nation-building, peace advocacy, social cohesion, and community development, Prince Ishwar Ramlutchman Mabheka Zulu received two leadership appointments from both the Zulu Royal Household and the Government of KwaZulu-Natal.
The first appointment was conferred by King Misuzulu kaZwelithini, who named Mabheka Zulu as Royal Ambassador for Social Cohesion and Economic Development in the Zulu Kingdom during the recent International Day of Yoga (IDY) event at the Durban Amphitheatre.
KwaZulu-Natal Premier Thami Ntuli then appointed Mabheka Zulu to serve on the KZN Social Cohesion and Moral Regeneration Council, a provincial body tasked with strengthening social unity, ethical leadership, nation-building, cultural understanding, and moral renewal.
During his speech at IDY, the king requested Mabheka Zulu host Diwali celebrations at the Emashobeni Royal Palace, continuing the tradition shared with his late father.
