A member of the Zulu royal family have come out publicly to state his support for the king's decision to remove his traditional Prime Minister, Thulasizwe Buthelezi.
King Misuzulu kaZwelithini announced yesterday that he is replacing Buthelezi with his deputy, Inkosi Pathisizwe Chiliza.
Royal family member Prince Africa Zulu, in a statement, said that he is in full support of the move.
“I fully support the decision taken by His Majesty King Misuzulu kaZwelithini to remove the former Prime Minister from his duties. His Majesty has both the responsibility and the authority to protect the integrity of the Zulu royal household, and I believe this decision was taken in the best interests of the Zulu nation and the institution of the Zulu monarchy.
