KZN CoGTA MEC Reverend Thulasizwe Buthelezi has been fired again from his position of Traditional Prime Minister by King Misuzulu kaZwelithini
AmaZulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini has once again removed ReverendThulasizwe Buthelezi from the position of Traditional Prime Minister, ushering in a fresh leadership change within the Zulu Nation's traditional structures.
The announcement was made on Tuesday morning through the King's spokesperson, Mpikayise Buthelezi, who confirmed that Inkosi Phathisizwe Chiliza has been appointed to take over the role with immediate effect.
“The Office of His Majesty King Misuzulu kaZwelithini hereby announces that His Majesty has formally terminated the appointment of Reverend Thulasizwe Dominic Buthelezi as the Traditional Prime Minister (uNdunankulu) of the Zulu Nation.
“The decision was effected by His Majesty in accordance with Clause 7 of the Appointment and Mandate concluded on 2 December 2025, which vests in His Majesty the sole prerogative to terminate the appointment by written notice.
