Chilly nationwide pattern persists while interior remains dry and stable.

South Africa will experience another cold winter's day on Tuesday, with widespread chilly conditions, morning frost and fog in several provinces, while light rain and drizzle remain confined to parts of the eastern coastline and escarpment.

Rainfall is expected to be limited, with a 30% chance of isolated showers and rain affecting eastern KwaZulu-Natal, while light rain is also possible along the coast of the Eastern Cape during the morning.

Drizzle is likely along the escarpment of eastern Mpumalanga and eastern Limpopo. Most of the country's interior will remain dry.

Gauteng will wake up to patches of frost before clearing to fine and cool weather for the rest of the day.
