WIMBLEDON — Jack Draper has been forced to pull out of Wimbledon 24 hours before his first-round match due to injury.

Draper, 24, had already missed the Australian Open and French Open this year because of an arm and then knee problem.

But he had arrived at SW19 filled with optimism after a run to the semi-finals of Eastbourne and with his former Davis Cup team-mate Andy Murray as his coach.

He was handed a tough first-round draw against No 6 seed Taylor Fritz, due on Centre Court on Tuesday, but will now spend the day rehabbing his arm instead.
