Pizza might be the ultimate convenience food and supermarket ranges have vastly improved in recent years, which is lucky given the soaring cost of takeaways.
In anticipation of booming pizza sales ahead of the World Cup this summer, I tried a range of pizzas from premium to family value, with bases from wood-fired Neapolitan through to deep and squidgy Detroit-style dough.
