A grain truck and taxi collided on Monday morning
A major traffic route connecting the N1 to Durban Road was closed on Monday morning following a collision involving a grain truck and a minibus taxi.
Emergency services rushed to the scene after the crash on the link from the N1 outbound onto Durban Road, one of Cape Town's busiest commuter routes, leaving three people with moderate to serious injuries.
Cape Town Traffic Services spokesperson Kevin Jacobs said emergency personnel were attending to the injured while authorities managed the scene.
"Emergency services responded to the scene where a grain truck and a taxi collided on Durban Road. Three patients sustained moderate to serious injuries," Jacobs said.
