Recruitment and HR services company Lugera is celebrating 30 years on the market this year, marking three decades of connecting job seekers with employers in Slovakia and abroad.
Founded in Trenčín in May 1996 by three partners – Ľuboš, Gerard and Rasťo – the company started with a focus on permanent placement and executive search. Over the years, it has expanded both its service portfolio and geographic reach, growing into an international network operating in 10 countries.
During its early years, Lugera developed its own applicant tracking system, TalentBase, which helped streamline candidate and client administration. The company later expanded the platform to support process management and other recruitment activities.
The early 2000s brought significant growth. In addition to recruitment services, Lugera introduced salary benchmarking, temporary staffing and payroll solutions. The company also began its international expansion, opening its first foreign branch in Romania before entering additional markets.
