The controversial Ukrainian businessman, Oleg Nevzorov, has released a video message addressed to partners and investors in the KYB Corporation, the company behind the so-called "illegal city" known as "Baba Alino" near Varna. In the statement, he insisted that "the company is operating as usual" despite the ongoing investigation and extensive inspections at several of its projects.
According to Nevzorov, the entire KYB team remains on site at "Baba Alino" and continues to fulfill its obligations and work on current developments. He acknowledged that inspections by state institutions and law enforcement authorities have forced the company to postpone deadlines for some projects, but assured investors that "we will definitely make up for the delays."
Nevzorov said large-scale inspections are taking place, including at several of the company's construction sites, stressing that both he and his team are fully cooperating with the authorities. "We provide all requested documents and offer full assistance to law enforcement agencies," he said, adding that the company wants every issue surrounding its projects to be examined objectively and resolved through a legally sound assessment.
The businessman reiterated his commitment to Bulgaria, describing Varna as "my second home." He said the company has invested not only substantial financial resources but also "a part of our soul" into creating modern residential complexes with infrastructure designed for ordinary people, many of whom already live there.
