1. Dog walks: The day starts early with a walk alongside my dog, which helps set a calm and positive tone. Then comes a cup of coffee before heading to the tennis court by 7 am to kickstart the day with energy.2. Intermittent fasts: I follow an intermittent fasting routine during certain periods of the year, especially when I aim to reset and feel lighter. My approach is a 16:8 cycle, eating between 1 pm and 9 pm, while sticking to water and black coffee during the fasting window.3. Exercise and reading: Tennis anchors my week. I play for an hour, six days a week, and have recently taken up padel. I enjoy reading business literature, aiming for a book each quarter. My favourites include Zero to One, Uncommon Service, and The Hard Thing About Hard Things.4. Short walk: Evenings are kept simple and relaxed — an early dinner followed by a short walk. I watch sports on television, and wind down at around 10 pm.5. Chess time: Alongside physical fitness, I focus on mental agility — playing chess for 15–20 minutes daily; it helps stay sharp and enhances strategic thinking.(Srikanth Iyer is CEO and co-founder, HomeLane)Published on June 29, 2026
