PSG has agreed personal terms with 19-year-old Ivorian winger Yan Diomandé, currently at RB Leipzig, on a contract running through 2031.

Liverpool tried. PSG won the room.

Liverpool entered the race with serious intent, submitting offers in the region of €109M for Diomandé. RB Leipzig rejected those bids.

The reported valuation window for Diomandé sits between €90M and €130M. Liverpool’s ceiling offer landed somewhere inside that range.

Diomandé has reportedly expressed a clear personal preference for PSG, a preference rooted in something older than transfer fees and contract lengths. His father was a PSG supporter, and that childhood association with the club appears to have carried real weight in the decision.
