Paris Saint-Germain is moving to secure one of European football’s most exciting young talents, preparing an official offer for RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande. The 19-year-old Ivorian has become the subject of a bidding war that could push his price tag well north of €120 million.

PSG’s interest isn’t exactly a secret. The club has reportedly been in discussions with Diomande’s representatives for several weeks, though no formal bid has landed on Leipzig’s desk yet.

A transfer battle with serious price tags

Liverpool submitted an opening bid of €100 million for Diomande, and Leipzig said no thanks. Leipzig’s reported asking price sits above €120 million, with some reports suggesting the figure could stretch to €130 million. For a teenager who just completed his first Bundesliga campaign, those are eye-watering numbers. Then again, 12 goals and 7 assists in a debut season tend to inflate price tags rather quickly.

Diomande, born on November 14, 2006, joined Leipzig on July 16, 2025 from La Liga.
