Berlin, June 28 (EFE).- At least one person was killed and 14 others, including two children, were injured on Sunday when Russian forces struck the southeastern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia with two guided bombs, Ukrainian authorities said.

Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said the injured included two children, eight women and four men.

Rescue operations were continuing, the agency said, adding that a woman and a child were pulled alive from the rubble of one of the damaged buildings.

One of the injured children, a five-year-old, is in critical condition, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, who shared images on Telegram showing the aftermath of the attack, including a fire and damaged residential areas.

«Russia is a terrorist state,» Fedorov wrote on Telegram.
