According to the notice, Gombawa Motors was accused of failing to comply with established regulations and attracting complaints from other operators within the terminal.

The Gombe State government has ordered the expulsion of a firm, Gombawa Motors Nigeria Limited from the Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo Mega Park, barely two days after the transport company declared its support for a governorship candidate, Isa Ali Pantami.

Pantami is the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections. The former minister had withdrawn from the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primaries for Gombe State in May 2026.

He subsequently defected to the PDP and emerged as the gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 elections.

In a letter dated June 25, 2026, and obtained by SaharaReporters on Saturday, Principal Facilities Management Limited, the firm responsible for managing operations at the Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo Mega Park, notified Gombawa Motors of its immediate removal from the state-owned transport facility.
