A 33-year-old man was seriously injured after being struck by two vehicles on a highway in northern Greece on Saturday.
The incident began around noon when the man’s car veered off the Thessaloniki-Nea Moudania highway near Portaria, south of Thessaloniki, for reasons under investigation.
After leaving the vehicle and reportedly walking on the roadway, he was hit by a car driven by a 60-year-old Greek woman traveling toward Thessaloniki and then by a second vehicle driven by a 44-year-old Romanian man heading toward Halkidiki. He was hospitalized with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Police are investigating the incident.
