MANILA, Philippines — An effusive eruption has been recorded at Mayon Volcano in Albay for the 173rd consecutive day as the volcano remains under Alert Level 3, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said on Saturday.

According to Phivolcs, the lava effusion from Mayon Volcano’s summit crater occurred from 9:41 p.m. to 11:19 p.m. on Friday and 2:39 a.m. to 2:44 a.m. on Saturday.
