MANILA, Philippines — Mayon Volcano in Albay spewed ash again Friday morning, generating a grayish plume, state seismologists reported.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the ash emission from Mayon’s crater occurred at 9:08 a.m.
“This event generated a 150-meter-tall grayish plume that drifted to the east-northeast as recorded by the VMCB (Calbayog Observation Station) RasPi Camera,” the agency noted.
