MANILA, Philippines — Mayon Volcano in Albay logged 51 volcanic earthquakes and other seismic activities for the past 24 hours as it remained under Alert Level 3, which signifies intensified unrest, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said on Saturday.

In its 24-hour monitoring bulletin, Phivolcs said Mayon Volcano also recorded 30 volcanic tremors which lasted for two to 45 minutes long. It also logged 399 rockfall and six pyroclastic density current (PDC) signals.
