Vega VIBE 2026: Westville Girls' High School shines in national competition.
Westville Girls' High School has been crowned the national winner of the Vega VIBE 2026 competition for the second consecutive year after impressing judges with its creative marketing campaign for a South African outdoor brand.
The Durban school secured the title after competing against regional champions from Cape Town, Johannesburg and Pretoria in the national finals of Vega VIBE (Vega Interschool Brand Experience), hosted by The Vega School at Emeris.
This year's challenge tasked learners with developing a marketing strategy for Sapmok, a premium outdoor brand, aimed at changing Gen Z's perception that hiking gear is boring, unfashionable and only designed for outdoor adventures.
English and Art teacher Tayla Miles said the back-to-back national victory reflected the dedication and talent of the learners.
