Vega School's Brand Activation and Brand Challenge programmes can empower SMMEs and NGOs with strategic marketing and design assistance.
The Vega School at Emeris has officially opened applications for its annual Brand Activation and Brand Challenge programmes, inviting small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) and non-profit organisations (NGOs) to apply for strategic marketing and design assistance.
The nationwide initiative matches selected organisations with multi-disciplinary student teams who create real-world business solutions. In a shift away from corporate giants, the institution is directing its academic resources toward grassroots entities to support economic development and social sustainability.
The programme is structured into two separate tiers based on the students' academic levels. The first tier, Brand Activation, is a fast-paced, two-week challenge designed specifically for second-year students. Operating in a simulated agency environment, these teams conduct 360-degree brand analyses specifically for non-profit clients.
The second tier, the seven-week Brand Challenge, involves third-year, honours, and postgraduate diploma students—including those studying via distance learning. These senior students investigate complex business scenarios from all angles to develop long-term strategic and creative design interventions.
