Sparkle artists Katrina Halili and Angel Guardian were both hailed as Best Actress at the 2026 World Class Excellence Japan Awards (WCEJA) for their exemplary acting performances.Katrina received the distinction for her outstanding portrayal of Emma in the GMA Afternoon Prime series Mommy Dearest, while Angel was recognized for her remarkable performance as Sang'gre Deia in GMA Prime's recently concluded fantasy drama, Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre.
The World Class Excellence Japan Awards (WCEJA), now celebrating its 10th anniversary, is an organization that honors outstanding global professionals and performing artists for their exemplary contributions to their respective fields. This year's awarding ceremony was held on June 18 at the Heritage Hotel in Pasay City.
